Become a member of a prominent and esteemed business collective that champions crucial issues affecting enterprises in the Clarence Valley and allows your organisation to showcase its support and dedication to the region and its diverse businesses.

Setting Realistic Goals

A successful Strategy Plan requires realistic goals and participation from all stakeholders to reach milestones that mark the success metrics.

Completed Town Projects

For too long our town projects have remained either incomplete or not a priority. CVC’s new council in Sept 2024 and the Executive need to commit to being accountable to delivering these projects.

Maclean a Council Priority

Maclean is due credit for the size of the population of the LGA that it in fact services, not the size of the population that live within the town limits. Returning Maclean to the premium town of the Lower Clarence given it’s proximity to the freeway - a gateway to the CV- will only provide benefit to the whole region.

Government Collaboration

There is no Maclean CBD Strategy or Economic Development Plan. We have limited success in liaising with Council and obtaining correct information. Previous commitment to a quarterly meeting must be maintained by Council and Maclean District Business Chamber.

Thriving Economy & Community

The Maclean & Surrounds Business Community, Residents and Government are all responsible for ensuring this outcome. The faster we come together, the faster as a community we can provide higher incomes and a greater standard of living for our residents
